PUTRAJAYA: Police have arrested 254 individuals for various standard operating procedure violations.
The taskforce monitoring standard operating procedure compliance had carried out 79,868 checks involving 18,604 personnel on Wednesday , said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
Authorities carried out checks at 2,006 factories, 15,605 business premises, 1,005 construction sites and 300 workers’ hostels. Hishammuddin said that 680 individuals had returned to Malaysia on Aug 4, and all were sent to observe mandatory quarantine at government designated stations.
