Higher fines in single-ticketing system needed to discipline motorists - Mayor Francis. | ManilaBulletin

In an interview with dzBB, Zamora said that several motorists were dismayed with the amount of fines and penalties that will be implemented once the single-ticketing system is pilot-tested in seven NCR cities starting May 2."Unang una, wala naman pong magbabayad ng multa kung walang violation. If you do not violate any traffic regulation, then you will not be fined or penalized.

"Mayroon po kayong sampung araw para i-contest po yan sa adjudication board ng lungsod kung saan kayo nahuli at kung hindi nyo bayaran o puntahan yung adjudication board within 10 days, ay inaamin na ninyo na kayo nga po ay talagang nagviolate. ," Zamora noted. Nearly three decades in the making, the single-ticketing system aims to streamline the traffic violations and fines of the 16 cities and lone municipality comprising the NCR. It also allows violators to pay their fines using e-wallets and other digital payment platforms on the spot, preventing the need for them to proceed to the city hall to pay for their violation.
