KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 — The High Court here today allowed an application by Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman for the temporary release of his passport to enable him to attend two international conferences in Switzerland and South Korea next month.
Earlier, Lim told the court that the prosecution did not object to his client’s application and this was confirmed by Mohd ‘Afif. According to Syed Saddiq, he needed the passport early as he needs to apply for a visa to visit the two countries which will take time.
