Syed Saddiq dapat pelepasan sementara pasport ke Switzerland, Korea Selatan
Ahli Parlimen Muar Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman diberi kebenaran untuk mendapatkan sementara pasport bagi membolehkan beliau menghadiri dua persidangan antarabangsa di Switzerland dan Korea Selatan bulan depan. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 18 April 2023.
“Mahkamah membenarkan permohonan pemohon untuk mendapatkan pelepasan pasport dan pemohon perlu memulangkan pasport kepada mahkamah pada 20 Mei ini,” kata hakim itu. Berdasarkan afidavit, Syed Saddiq memohon mendapatkan pasport sementara untuk ke Switzerland pada 1 Mei bagi menghadiri persidangan polisi dadah antarabangsa dan kembali ke Malaysia pada 6 Mei ini.
Pada 28 Oktober tahun lepas, Syed Saddiq diperintahkan membela diri atas empat pertuduhan bersubahat pecah amanah, salah guna harta dan pengubahan wang haram selepas pihak pendakwaan berjaya membuktikan kes prima facie terhadap tertuduh di akhir kes pendakwaan.
