The new South Australian Liberal Party leader has vowed to win the 2026 election after former opposition leader David Speirs dramatically stepped down last week.
The new South Australian Liberal Party leader has made a huge promise after he was voted into the top job Monday morning.
In his opening speech as leader of the party, Mr Tarzia gave a special thanks to Mr Speirs while recalling the pair's parallel trajectories in their respective careers. He also vowed to tackle the cost-of-living crisis as South Australians struggle with inflation and high energy prices.“That means that our children, and their children, and their children after that, are gonna be ladened with this debt bomb. We know that South Australian families are doing it tough out there.”
