Beliau berkata, hasil kajian itu akan dibentangkan kepada kerajaan Persekutuan dan negeri mengenal pasti isu-isu yang berkaitan termasuklah harga ayam dan harga beras putih import bersubsidi. “Pemberian subsidi itu dilakukan kerana jurang harga antara Sabah, Sarawak dan Semenanjung serta bekalan beras tempatan yang lebih rendah di sini berbanding Semenanjung.
Beliau berkata demikian semasa mengulas tentang kenyataan Pengerusi Perhubungan UMNO Sabah, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin yang mendakwa tiada usaha diambil dalam menstabilkan harga ayam di Sabah.
