A woman was accidentally shot by her 4-year-old granddaughter while shopping at a thrift store in Mobile, police said.

Officers were called to America’s Thrift Store on Airport Boulevard about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a report of an accidental shooting. Police said the child somehow got her grandmother’s gun, which discharged inside the store. Police said the grandmother’s injury was not life-threatening.
