A grand funeral was held for the 42-year-old man who was shot to death at a restaurant when having lunch with his friends.

The Facebook page of Guan Sheng Temple Association in Johor shared the obituary of the victim, Chen Jin Wen , who also worked as a debt collector. It is also revealed that Chen was an important member of the association.

The deceased’s funeral was held at the Johor Chinese Association’s Mian Yu Ting Funeral Parlor. The deceased’s relatives booked 4 air-conditioned halls to set up the funeral hall, and more than 100 electronic wreaths were lined up in two rows. Most of these wreaths displayed the words, “Rest in peace, big boss.”

Chen was shot 4 times in Johor Bahru by a masked man who came on a motorcycle. Chen walked away from his table to pick up a phone call, and that was when the gunman opened fire before fleeing the scene within 10 seconds.
