SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): A food processing company and its director admitted on Friday (Oct 20) to not having the expiry dates or having the wrong ones on 5,880kg of fish and meat products.
MBPJ councillor Terence Tan told StarMetro that the next mayor needed to understand how the city was run and to work closely with the city councillors.
Tan said the top three challenges that the new mayor would face was maintaining more green spaces, improving developmental sustainability, and effective red tape reduction. Damansara Utama Residents and Owners Association committee member Datuk Dr Ilango Karuppannan said the new mayor must focus on enhancing Petaling Jaya residents’ quality of life.
He said the next mayor must involve the public in city planning, ensuring that major development decisions had the support of the people.
