BEIJING (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Three people died and 17 others were injured on Wednesday (Oct 18) after an elevator in a China mall plunged from the fourth floor to the first, Chinese media reported.
JOHOR BARU: Motorists travelling towards Jalan Jim Quee and Jalan Ismail Sultan here will have to take an alternate route from Oct 24 to 31.
“The closure is to facilitate construction works of the Johor Baru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link ," said the statement. The works involve the pedestrian overhead bridge relocation, bore pile works, sheet piling installation works, pile cap works, pier construction and any other RTS Link construction works.
The statement said during the left lane closure at Jalan Jim Quee and closure of Jalan Ismail Sultan , motorists would be diverted to Jalan Lumba Kuda and Jalan Ah Siang to continue with their journey to Jalan Bukit Meldrum and Jalan Lingkaran Dalam.
