ISKANDAR PUTERI: Gelang Patah is becoming a new"hot spot" in Johor to smuggle drugs from the state to nearby Indonesian islands.
"Upon seeing our patrol boat, the suspect quickly sped off towards Indonesian waters," ACP Dzulkhairi told reporters at the Iskandar Puteri District police headquarters here on Tuesday . "The drugs are believed to be meant for distribution for the Indonesian market as drug addicts there are willing to pay higher prices," he said.
