KLUANG: Barisan Nasional has never met with any leaders or component parties from Perikatan Nasional on forming a coalition government after the 15th General Election (GE15), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA president, who is also Barisan vice-chairman, added the matter was never raised as such discussion never took place.
“If we are able to get a strong mandate just like during the Johor state election, which enabled us to form a strong state government here, then Barisan will be able to govern the country. However, he later claimed that his statement on working together with Barisan to form a coalition government after GE15 was taken out of context.
