PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man for removing and cutting Perikatan Nasional campaign materials hanging on a tree in Johor.
Bukit Aman General Election director Comm Datuk Hazani Ghazali said the incident occurred at around 11am on Sunday at Kampung Contoh, Jalan Batu Pahat Mersing."The complainant contacted Sembrong Perikatan Nasional election campaign director Daud Yusof and claimed the buntings had been removed in front of a house.
"We received a report that a man saw two suspects damaging posters and flags of one of the candidates along the road at Kampung Boyan there.He said another man was arrested for alleged mischief by fire in Johor when the MIC operations tent there was set ablaze.
