PETALING JAYA: Haniza Talha, Parti Bangsa Malaysia’s (PBM) candidate for Hulu Selangor, will be banking on her service record as a former Selangor exco member and three-term assemblyman in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Haniza said that since she was elected in 2008 as an assemblyman for Taman Medan, she had worked tirelessly for the people and spoke up for them.
“Under the Rumah Selangorku programme, when I was the state exco member, we had targeted the construction of 30,000 low-cost houses by 2023. Between 2018 and 2020, more than 10,000 Rumah Selangorku were built. This, she said, has brought relief to aggrieved parties who bought homes in these abandoned projects.
“I have also upgraded and refurbished the communal areas where my voters are staying, such as providing a fresh coat of paint for apartments, fixing damaged infrastructure like leaking pipes and setting up recycling centres,” she said.
