This chocolatey banana confection sits firmly between cake and brownie.
I haven't tried it like that—curious to know how it turns out. You might need to add additional liquid if the batter looks too dry. Please let me know if you experiment with this!boy do I wish I had read the comments. all that effort to see it completely dried out after an hour. This is so good. Easy, yummy, and I always have the ingredients! I did use an 8X8 pan, as I was too lazy for the springform that evening.
Take the cake out when the edges are pulling away from the sides and are dry. A pick or knife won't come out clean even when done in an almond meal-based cake but I bake with it a lot, and it is so moist, you will need to wait those 45 min. after you pull it out of the oven for the final product. Worth it!I used an 8 inch square ceramic baking dish and found it to be perfectly cooked after 1 hour at 350. I also only used 1 teaspoon of salt inside and both almond and peanut butter .
hello! do you think that swapping peanut butter for the almond butter would introduce too strong a flavor?

Mushrooms and Garbanzos on Toast with Cider and Thyme Recipe on Food52Inspired by the daily lunch menu of my favorite restaurant, this dish is special because it’s quick and comforting. A cider-juice and any type of mushroom will work, though the nicer ones will result in a richer flavor. Choose a thick, rustic-type bread to hold up to the mushrooms and garbanzos.

Red Lentil Soup with Beet Greens Recipe on Food52Bitter tasting foods contribute to better health but sadly, these foods are largely absent in a typical western diet. Inside our digestive system, bitter tasting foods do wonders! They reduce water retention in our bodies while cleansing our inner organs and blood. And don’t worry, you don’t have to start munching on raw bitter melon to include bitter tasting food in your diet! Many different types of leafy greens, spices like turmeric, and fenugreek seeds all provide the “inner” bitterness that your body needs. The last time I was at the farmers market, I saw people buy the beetroots and discard their greens – boy are they missing out! These beet greens have a natural saltiness to them and can be added to all kinds of soups, stews, and warm salads. This warm and hearty lentil soup uses three of my favorite bitter foods – beet greens, fenugreek seeds, and turmeric. This is my go-to detox recipe for the cold winter! Enjoy some bitterness!

An Easy Breakfast Recipe You Can Whip Up in No TimeMany of us have coped with the uncertainty and stress of life during a pandemic and a rapid slide into fascism by turning to the comforts of our homes, which we now never leave. And specifically, to the kitchens in our homes, where it seems, if my Instagram feed is any indication, people have increasingly begun cooking admittedly delicious-looking meals, dishes that I would love to eat but not prepare, as they seem time-consuming, and require many ingredients.
