PATTANI, Thailand : Four policemen were injured following an explosion in Pattani 's Nong Chik district on Friday morning, February 7th. The incident occurred at 7:30 am when a police team on motorcycles responded to a report at the Don Yang Intersection near the Bangchak gas station. The Nong Chik Police Station immediately dispatched its explosive ordnance disposal unit to the scene to conduct a thorough survey and ensure the safety of local residents.
Four injured policemen were transported to Nong Chik hospitals for treatment. Pol Sgt Major Noppol Raksapram and Pol Corporal Anucha Khwanthong-on sustained serious injuries, while Pol Sgt Major Chatmongkhon Nuchsri and Pol Corporal Kilarat Thongma received minor wounds.
