IPOH: Four people were injured when the driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) lost control of the vehicle, which plunged into a 30m deep ravine near Sungai Siput.
A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the four were on their way down a steep hill after picnicking at Pos Kuala Mu when the driver failed to manoeuvre the SUV around a sharp bend, resulting in the accident at about 5.45pm on Sunday .
He said one man sustained injuries to his face and legs, another woman suffered breathing difficulties, while two teenage girls sustained light injuries.“The man, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, while the other three were taken to the hospital in a fire and rescue vehicle,” he added.
