JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested four people, including two women, all of which are ethnic Rohingya for allegedly being involved in a series of housebreaking cases in the city centre here.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the suspects, aged 14 and 27, were apprehended during a raid last Thursday at noon.
"Their tactic is to break into houses that are empty during the day during working hours and steal jewellery and cash," he said in a statement on Saturday ."Two of the men also have prior records involving housebreaks and drugs.
