Four people, including three children, were found dead in a landslide in Kampung Lereng Bukit, while another victim remains missing. As of noon, six victims were rescued, four of whom were confirmed dead. Rescue operations are ongoing with over 20 firefighters aided by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), Ministry of Health (KKM), Civil Defence Department (JPAM), and military personnel.

“Setibanya di lokasi, kami dimaklumkan kemungkinan terdapat tujuh mangsa tertimbus. Setakat ini, empat ditemukan maut, termasuk tiga kanak-kanak. Katanya, mangsa pertama seorang remaja perempuan dikeluarkan dalam keadaan cedera parah sekitar pukul 4.46 pagi, diikuti seorang wanita dewasa pada pukul 5 pagi.
Katanya, dua lagi kanak-kanak perempuan ditemukan pada pukul 11.38 pagi dan 11.48 pagi, namun kedua-duanya disahkan meninggal dunia.
