We chat with Foundation star Kulvinder Ghir (kulvinderghir) about how it felt to join the AppleTV sci-fi show in season 2, and how Poly views his mission of revolution:
The Galactic Empire will never be the same with Foundation season 2 premieres on July 14. After a nearly two-year-long wait, the Apple TV+ sci-fi show returns to the world penned by Isaac Asimov, picking up over a century after the eponymous Foundation was founded. As the Genetic Dynasty led by the Cleons plunges further into disarray, the exiled Psychohistory enthusiasts begin preparing for the downfall that was once foretold by Hari Seldon and Gaal Dornick.
Screen Rant spoke to Ghir about joining the Apple TV show in its second season, how Poly has changed since audiences met him in Foundation season 1, and why he feels the concept of Psychohistory is so relevant to the world today. We are dealing with a subject matter that is very, very deep and dense, but then we are there to challenge it and look at it and alleviate it, and that's the joy of joining this production and [being] a part of it. For the little man, for the little people, you can make the change. It is possible. It's a self-belief of faith. It all comes wrapped up in a lovely box to play this character.
