We chat with Foundation stars leepace & Laura Birn about how the relationship between Brother Day and Demerzel shifts in season 2 of Apple TV's sci-fi series:
Foundation season 2 introduces an 18th iteration of the Cleon Dynasty, whose legendary empire is threatened by the rise of "the Foundation" and Hari Seldon's followers. When the sci-fi show returns to Apple TV+ on July 14, fans will meet several new characters and locations from author Isaac Asimov's iconic novels, as well as welcome the return of stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, and more.
Screen Rant spoke to Pace and Birn about how their characters' relationship changes in Foundation season 2, what Day's impending marriage means for the Cleon Dynasty, and how the brothers tackle new versions of old characters. He's going to live life the way he wants to. He's going to make decisions the way he wants to, and he's going to, he plans to end the genetic dynasty by marrying and creating an heir. So, I found the character, I had a lot of fun with the character this year, to be honest. I think I found a lot of humor in how savage he is and primitive.
