SYDNEY - Bernard Foley scored 16 second-half points as the New South Wales Waratahs produced a controlled second 40 minutes to stay in contention for the Australian conference title with a 23-20 win over the Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby on Saturday.

The Waratahs , however, were far more disciplined after the break and moved into second ahead of the Queensland Reds , with the Melbourne-based side still on top on 24 points but they have a bye next week. Both sides appeared to have issues with a slippery ball with numerous handling errors interrupting the flow of the game.

Hodge’s try on the cusp of halftime was also from a similarly confused situation when Rebels winger Marika Koroibete appeared to have interfered with a defender in the air but Murphy allowed play to continue and the fullback ran in untouched.

He'd been whipped across the back and hung by his wrists for days. The patient, Baakar learned, had been left for dead by the side of a highway after being held captive in a prison run by the Houthi rebels who control northern Yemen. Baakar spent hours removing bullets and repairing ruptured intestine. He tended to the patient's recovery for 80 days and, at the end, agreed to pose for a selfie with him.
