AYER HITAM: The flood situation, here, is worsening, says Dr Wee Ka Siong.
More than 20 relief centres had been opened in the constituency to accommodate 4,539 flood victims from 1,315 families as of noon on Saturday , said MCA president in a Facebook post.
"Right now, two more relief centres will be opened following the increase in the number of victims who have been instructed to leave their homes by the authorities," he added. Wee said that he and Yong Peng state assemblyman Ling Tian Soon would be visiting the newly opened shelters on Sunday . "I will visit the newly opened relief centres to ensure all victims are well taken care of with sufficient necessities provided to them," he added.
