KOTA KINABALU: Five men were nabbed for violating the movement control order (MCO) and other offences in separate locations on Tuesday (April 8).

In the first case, two men were caught for possessing a fake pistol in their car apart from violating the movement control order here.

“The driver said that he was driving his friend to send food to a family member, ” said Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Habibi Majinji.ACP Habibi said they found out that the fake pistol was bought from a shopping mall in the city last year. In the second incident, three men were arrested for idling by a river in Laya-Laya, Tuaran not far from here, at 6.38pm.
