Fewer flood evacuees in Batu Pahat, Segamat

Fewer flood evacuees remain in the Johor districts of Batu Pahat and Segamat as at 8am today. – Fire and Rescue Department handout, March 19, 2023.

The State Disaster Management Committee said 17,125 evacuees are still seeking shelter at 70 relief centres against 19,041 last night. Meanwhile, the Batu Pahat District Disaster Management Secretariat said the water level was receding in several areas in the district.
