NSW Farmers Association Director Xavier Martin says farmers are “optimistic” there will be an “alert approach” to dealing with a mice infestation across rural New South Wales.

Mr Martin’s remark comes as farmers fear a mice plague is developing, with reports mice in significant numbers are damaging crops across New South Wales.

“We’re optimistic that there will be an alert approach to what is going on and the possibility to observe and measure the level of breeding,” Mr Martin told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
