SEREMBAN: A former manager has pleaded not guilty at a Magistrate's Court here to committing criminal breach of trust involving more than RM41,000 belonging to her employer.

Siti Khadyja Razali, 28, entered the plea after the charge was read to her before magistrate Mohd Firdaus Saleh on Friday .

She was charged with committing the offence at her office in Nilai between June 17 and July 27 last year.The accused was charged under Section 406 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine if found guilty.Counsel for the accused Asiah Abd Jalil asked for minimum bail as the accused was unemployed.Mohd Firdaus then allowed bail of RM3,500 with one surety and fixed March 24 for next mention.
