In a recent interview, Floyd Shivambu touched on his relationship with Julius Malema and how he executed his plan to leave EFF.
the former deputy president explained how he left the party for MK. When asked if he and Malema were still friends, Floyd said the two were never close, and were only connected by politics.
“Everything I said in this interview is 100% correct. I am and truthful student of Amilcar Cabral who says Hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories,” he said.“Some of the comrades were saying they were shocked I went to MKP. The majority of leaders in the EFF knew I am going to join MKP,” he said.
