KUALA LUMPUR: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman was today sentenced to seven years of imprisonment, a RM10mil fine and two strokes of the cane for all charges of abetting in criminal breach of trust (CBT), misappropriation of funds and money laundering.

Regarding the allegation that there is a shortage of sugar and subsidised packet cooking oil in the market at the moment, Fuziah said the producers could face action if they do not meet the set production quota.
