KUALA LUMPUR: Narcotics operations in the city saw almost half a million ringgit in drugs seized.
In a statement, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said that two raids on Feb 14 saw the arrest of a 38-year-old man and seizure of more than 10,000 Erimin 5 pills.
“Following that, a second raid was conducted at a condominium in Taman Desa where a further 14,600 Erimin 5 pills were found, with its value estimated around RM219,000," he said on Wednesday . At the time of the arrest, the suspect had acted aggressively, leading to multiple cars being damaged during his attempt to escape.
