KLANG: A suspected robber led police on a high-speed chase from Banting to Klang before he was finally apprehended.
One of the videos shows police pursuing the suspect who was overtaking other cars at a high speed before going over a speed bump and crashing into other vehicles.
"Our investigations revealed that a team from the Selangor CID Serious Crimes Unit was involved in a high-speed chase with a suspect believed to be involved in robberies in Subang Jaya," he said in a statement on Monday . "The suspect then went over a speed bump at a high rate of speed and hit another car before skidding to the side of the road," he said, adding that the suspect alighted from the vehicle and ran on foot toward the nearby village.
"The suspect managed to flee the scene and was then chased toward Jalan Kem, Port Klang where he was finally arrested.
