A 22-year-old driver cheated death after his car skidded and hit a house in Johor Baru, Malaysia, Thursday afternoon. The impact caused the car to catch fire, damaging it by an estimated 60%. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and the driver escaped unharmed.
JOHOR BARU : A driver cheated death after his car skidded and hit a house at Jalan Biru in Taman Rinting, Masai near to the Pasir Gudang highway on Thursday at 1.45pm.
“Twelve firefighters from the Larkin Fire station were deployed to the scene," Larkin Fire station chief Mohd Suhaimi Abdul Jamal said in a statement Thursday. He added that the adult male driver managed to escape from the burning vehicle before the arrival of the firefighters.
