Comedian Mark has been very open about his battle with alcoholism, and he is now marking two years sober, which is a fantastic achievement and a significant milestone in his journey

Many of Mark's followers commented words of support, including his girlfriend Doireann, who left heart emojis under the post, with her fellow 2FM star Carl Mullan also commenting his support. Mark previously opened up about his alcohol addiction in the past, encouraging others to get help if they are struggling.“If you are struggling, just please ask for help, because everything can change. I thought getting better was for other people, I thought getting sober was something that other people did, and that I was uniquely f***ed," he added.
Recently, Doireann opened up about her and Mark's plans to move in together. Doireann has been renovating her house since she bought it a year ago, and she was hopeful that her and Mark may be able to move in together this weekend.
