The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday warned the public against a circulating false article about a cure for hypertension.
“The DOH further clarifies that the said post is not in any way or form approved, affiliated, or recommended by the DOH and its attached agencies,” the department said in a statement.
The Health Department urged the public to be vigilant and check legitimate sources and platforms through its official social media accounts and website. It said non-communicable diseases and comorbidities, such as hypertension, can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet and exercise.
