The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, has mourned a renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Ali, who died last night at the age of 73.
In a heartfelt condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, the Kano State Government and the entire Muslim Ummah. He said the deceased's legacy will continue to shine, illuminating the path of knowledge and spirituality for all.
The statement said Sheikh Yusuf Ali was a renowned Islamic scholar whose influence extended far beyond national borders, adding that his teachings and wisdom have enriched the lives of countless individuals in Nigeria and beyond.
