Of the latest count, most were from Northern Mindanao which logged 24 deaths.Six other regions also reported fatalities: Bicol Region, six deaths; Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Davao Region, four deaths each; Caraga region, three deaths; while Mimaropa also reported one death.
Most or 29 people have died due to drowning, seven succumbed to landslides, four were electrocuted to death, while one person died of cardiac arrest. The cause of fatalities for the rest of the victims have not yet been identified.
