Deadpool crosses over with Titantic in new fan art.
Deadpool replaces Rose and gets drawn like one of Jack's French girls in a hilarious piece of Titanic-inspired fan art. Ryan Reynold's beloved merc with a mouth has both enchanted and repulsed audiences with his colorful language and penchant for gore. The Marvel anti-hero's next outing will see him officially join the MCU, following Disney's merger with Fox, a move that has audiences both nervous and excited.
Prior to this major leap, Deadpool has joined another big blockbuster hit as he now appears in an iconic scene from James Cameron's Titanic in a brand-new piece of art shared by Bosslogic. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bosslogic As Titanic gears up to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the hilariously bizarre piece of fan art reimagines one of the more memorable scenes from Cameron's beloved feature, in which Kate Winslet's Rose instructs Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack to draw her. Sharing the art on Instagram, the piece sees Deadpool sprawled across a couch, as he mirrors Rose's pose with his arm above his head.
Aside from his fourth wall breaks, Deadpool is also known for his foul humor and language, a particular trait that served as a major contributing factor in earning his previous two releases an R-rating. Many were therefore concerned that the jump over to the MCU would mean toning down those elements that made the character so memorable. However, it has since been confirmed that Deadpool 3 will maintain the franchise's R-rating, and will be certain to make good use of it.
This unique piece of art is perfectly reminiscent of a joke that Deadpool would make himself and also serves as a hilarious celebration of Titanic's upcoming anniversary. Deadpool's trademark humor is certain to return with a vengeance in Deadpool 3 and with Reynold's collaborative partner Shawn Levy serving as a director on the upcoming project, it'll be interesting to see what this exciting partnership brings to the MCU.
