Ryan Reynolds hilariously disses Hugh Jackman after his Wolverine and Deadpool title suggestion for Deadpool 3. After the horrible Deadpool depiction in X-Men Origins: Wolverine that brought Reynolds and Jackman together before, Deadpool 3 is the two actors' chance to get a redo. Both are joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of the crossover that became unfathomable after Logan and Jackman's Wolverine retirement.

Hugh Jackman recently suggested a Wolverine & Deadpool retitling for Deadpool 3 after calling the film by this unofficial title in a social media post. It prompted a quick response from Reynolds indicating he is not a fan of it.
Now, Ryan Reynolds has once again pushed back on the potential Wolverine & Deadpool title. At the end of a video where he urges the Academy Awards to nominate Jackman for his performance in The Son, the camera drops and Reynolds is heard saying, "Wolverine and Deadpool, who is he kidding? It will be surprising at this stage if Deadpool 3 does not give Reynolds and Jackman a chance to continue one-upping each other as their Marvel superheroes. This could include Deadpool and Wolverine having a Legolas and Gimli-style rivalry built around who can kill the most enemies and do so in the coolest way. The movie can have major set pieces thanks to this, while the interplay between Reynolds and Jackman's characters should also be filled with some disdain.
So What Should Deadpool 3 Be Called? For all the jokes that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have made about Deadpool 3's title, it does remain a big question for the film. It should be expected that Wolverine will be referenced in the title in some form at this point. Reynolds clearly does not want Deadpool 3 to be called Wolverine & Deadpool, likely because it gives Hugh Jackman top billing. The ultimate compromise and potential outcome could be a change to Deadpool & Wolverine.
