JOHOR BARU: A distraught daughter is pleading with her father to return home and settle his debt with a licensed moneylending firm, which she alleges has been harassing her family for the last 10 months.

The 31-year-old woman, who wanted to be known only as Ng, said her 55-year-old father left their home at Indahpura in Kulai in December, before the harassment started.

She added that when she asked for documents to show that her father really did borrow money from them, the men refused and told her that as a daughter. she should pay his debt. “My father does not want to come clean with us and we do not know if he really borrowed the RM50,000, or what he did with it.

She pleaded with the company to stop disturbing her family as they were not the ones who took out the loan in the first place.
