“Kali terakhir cuaca yang panas melanda negara ini adalah pada sekitar 1998 di Perlis sebelum ini,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas Majlis Perasmian Kampung Angkat MADANI NRES di Kampung Aril, Melor, di sini hari ini. “Selain itu, kita juga akan memantau dan berjaga-jaga tentang jerebu dalam negara dan rentas sempadan kerana kami melihat beberapa kesan kebakaran melibatkan tanah gambut,” katanya.
