Police are looking into extending the suspect’s remand.
: The suspect involved in the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 1 shooting has arrived at the Kota Bharu court this morning for his remand order extension.Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that police would look into extending Hafizul’s remand order for another week on Sunday .Hussein added that Hafizul was believed to have gone to Kelantan to collect his medical records after doing a check-up a week prior to the shooting incident.
Besides that, Hussein added that police have managed to record statements from 27 individuals including the suspect.Hafizul was arrested on Monday in Kota Bharu after attempting to flee from the scene where he intended to shoot his wife but hit a bodyguard, Muhammad Nur Hadith, 38, at his abdominal area on Sunday .
The bodyguard had undergone surgery on April 16 but was reported to have remained unconscious but in stable condition after the procedure was done at Hospital Cyberjaya.Convenience store robbery gang smashed, three men nabbed
