PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,417 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (July 11), says the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 2,413 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,598,391 cases since the pandemic began. A total of 5 deaths were recorded on Monday with 2 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,816.
