KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan Youth has urged the police to investigate PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang over his statement that the opposition has every right to topple the government.
A call to the King: Abbas accompanied by two other Youth leaders showing the memorandum outside Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
Amanah executive council member Fadhli Umar Aminolhuda said Abdul Hadi had gone against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s wish when he made that statement. Fadhli Umar said he hoped the police would investigate Abdul Hadi and those trying to topple a government that had been formed legitimately. Its deputy chief Abbas Salimmi Adzmi said this should come as a form of punishment for Abdul Hadi’s disrespect toward the King and Council of Rulers.
