PETALING JAYA: Easter, considered the most important day in the Christian calendar that celebrates Jesus’ resurrection, saw thousands of worshippers attending mass at St Francis Xavier Church here.

“ we fast for seven weeks where we give up something we really like. So, it is more meaningful and it is not a feasting celebration but a spiritually driven one. Senior pastor Ng Kok Aun said the aim of the play, scripted and acted by church members, was to depict the characters’ reactions under different circumstances and portray a show of faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
The Sulaman assemblyman also criticised former Bersatu women’s chief Anina Saadudin, who recently questioned the placings of billboards in Sabah which convey well-wishes to Christians observing Good Friday.
