GEORGE TOWN, June 9 — Penang has recorded an achievement of 47 per cent with the implementation of 210 projects and programmes in the five-year period after the launch of Penang 2030 Vision.
“As previously announced, the Penang2030 Vision has four main themes supported by 16 strategic Initiatives and in terms of achievements, a total of 210 projects and programmes have been and are being carried out. In tracing the launch of the ‘Penang 2030 Vision: A People-centric Smart and Green State That Inspires the Nation’ on Aug 29, 2018, he said it was conceived as a development master plan with four main themes involving the people of Penang.
He said the state government stays committed to continuing its strategy to realise the Penang 2030 Vision in the remaining seven years.
