Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers BYD, Geely, and SAIC have filed complaints with the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) challenging new import tariffs imposed by the EU. The automakers argue that the tariffs, which range from 17% to 45.4%, harm their business model and could slow down the decarbonization of the transport sector.
