A Malaysian woman recently encountered a couple of Chinese nationals who asked for some cash from her, claiming that they lost all their money due to gambling.

The incident took place on the night of December 16 outside LRT Maluri station in Cheras, near Sunway Velocity shopping mall. The victim was approached by a Chinese woman who asked the victim if she could speak Mandarin.

“She also said that she’s a rich person in China and would treat me to a meal if I ever go to China.” The victim knew something was not right, and she tried to leave, but the man grabbed her arm and didn’t want to let her go. Fortunately, she managed to escape the man’s “wrath.”
