Chelsea have now reportedly beaten a European giant to a Manchester City star's signature, with the player having already agreed personal terms with the Blues.
The London club has agreed terms"in principle" with City to sign 21-year-old Cole Palmer in a deal worth £40 million , plus £5 million in add-ons, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.Romano further reports that the player has given the green light for the deal to move forward, and that the clubs found a"quick resolution" to the transfer, with a medical now expected on Thursday.
