MANILA, Philippines — CEMEX Holdings Philippines, Inc. (CHP) and Manila Water Company, Inc. (Manila Water) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate and explore
The intersection of business goals and strategic commitment of CHP and Manila Water makes this an attractive cooperation to further progress decarbonization and future energy.Under the MOU, both parties can build and collaborate on initiatives accelerating sustainable objectives in a circular economy by using biosolids as alternative fuels.
CHP and Manila Water will also explore partnerships in innovation on sustainable products and services, protection and rehabilitation of biodiversity, and clean energy and efficient water consumption advocacy. The MOU will entail both parties collaborating and sharing knowledge, expertise, and practices on projects identified as part of the roadmap.
