Equipped with a front-wheel drive setup, the Extended Range variant of the M6 features a 150kW electric motor that can also deliver 310Nm of torque. If that sounds rather familiar to you, that is most probably because the 2024 BYD Atto 3 with enhanced specs and the BYD Dolphin Extended Range have a similar setup too.
There is also the Standard Range version of M6 which comes with a slightly less powerful 120kW motor although it still has the same maximum torque of 310Nm and 180km/h top speed. Paired with the motor is a smaller 55.4kWh battery which is why this variant has a shorter NEDC-rated range of 420km. On the inside, the MPV looked not far off from its predecessor, the BYD e6. However, the M6 does feature several notable upgrades including a new steering wheel design and driver selector.
